Has anyone tried to put a truck bench set in a k5?

My '79 has a bench in it -- It was like that when I bought it. I can't give you any details, but it looks like they guy who put it in just used the factory holes, and put bolts in the unused holes to keep water from getting in.
It's a huge pain to get into the back seat.... or at least it would be if it had one.
The bench seat moves forward, but it's still not enough to get in easily. If you ever have passengers, this wouldn't be an upgrade that you would want to do.
The buckets from my '84 are going in the '79 as soon as I get around to getting a new set of seats for the '84.

Buy a 60/40 seat out of a newer truck and re-drill the holes. You will be able to get into the backseat with this style.

to add to bigdaddy's statement, get one from an extended cab truck and the passenger side will slide way forward on tracks
