Have you given your rig a name?

My daughter has named my build truck. Which is an 87 Blazer. "Heavy Dooty" If I can ever afford too finish it it will make alot of sence. Its getting the full running gear from a 78 k30 dulley tow truck. But i swear I will never get it done. Never enough money or time.
My daily driver. 90 gmc Jimmy is called the "Green Monster" by my daughter. I call it "The Junk".

My trucks dont have names per say--but I do call them some nasty things when working on one of them and things aren't going well....my red '82 GMC K2500 is sometimes a "Hemmroid" ,it even is the right color as one!...my 85 Suburban could be called the "John Holmes Edition" being so huge...and my 95 Contour ,being a dark green and looking somewhat froggish, could be called "Kermit"--or maybe "Flipper",due to the fact it looks like a popise or dolphin!...

My friend has a green Ford truck he calls "Boooger" .....

...I saw a Ford Super Duty truck driven by a very attractive blonde lady recently, with the name "Super Booty" on the tailgate !..:D

My wife was calling my blazer the beast, but that name is to overused....

Someone called it the "twinkie" last wheeling trip since i painted my top white. May spray the cage white and roll with that name lol.

I'm currently tearing apart and putting together a 1987 K5 that my wife has named "Brandi". Her reasoning...she likes the alliteration of Brandi Blazer and it is spelled with an "i" because Brandi takes her top off. :thumb::woot:

I call it my POS. but everyone else calls it the Orange Beast.

I hear "TheBeast" a lot. I've hear "Cow", cause of my recent primer spots. Like others, there are names you call it that don't go on license plates. I'm going to try "Bender", from my favorite cartoon, and since they look a like.

My old 78 was Black Sunshine haven't been able to come up with any good ones for my current one we just call it "the Blazer"

My 65 is Minnie (as in mouse) because she will be rat (complete with pinup on the fender eventually)

My jimmy is officially Big Red Barabra Ann (I wanted big ronda, but the wife objected). Ussually refered to as the jimmy, a cuss word if I'm bleeding, or baby if she doen't want to do something...

The Monte has to wait to see what motor it end up with, black betty if she gets dechromed, painted black, and the 427 I'm trying to talk a guy out of. Otherwise, who knows

"The Beast", when she's wheelin' hard.

"Old Clunky", around town.

"SONOFAB*TCH!", if I'm bleedin', or she breaks.... :D

EDIT: omfg.... '85, yer rig totally reminds me of Bender!

Further Edit:
'85, If we ever meet, you totally gotta let me paint Bender on yer rig!
I carry my pinstriping supplies w/ me everywhere, and it'd take maybe 15min's.

The blazer, I think it got its name out at blazer bash last year. "Veronica." Bitchy, tempermental and particularly high maintenance.

Awesome! Definitely Bender.

And, yes, you need Bender painted on the rear quarters.

Did you mean to say Crapper or Scrapper?

When I brought mine home my daughters said "Dad that things too big!", and it' stuck,

May I present without further a due - "Too Big". AKA "The Warthog". (not from Halo, from the A-10).
