Bad heater core...:doah:

Alittle more info maybe?

head gasket

well im just wondering if something else could be wrong,no more coolant burning, just wondering if there is maybe a underlying prblem than just a heater core

sounds like you need a cooling system flush, the coolant in there may have gone bad which means it gets corrosive, when that happens it will eat away at radiators, head gaskets, hoses, and yup, heater cores. id do the flush, put new coolant (and obviously a new heater core) and then keep an eye on all the other parts of the cooling system for leaks. including freeze plugs and whatnot.

Chances are you bumped the heater hose connection when you swapped head gaskets and broke the fitting loose from the core itself.
