Ok, so new burb is gonna need a head unit.

I've ALWAYS bought sony ones. I know, some people don't like them...but my luck has been good.

Eyeing this

No need of for a CD player, and the ipod tray thing works good, put one in my friends boat.

Biggest gripes are lack of radio preset buttons, and lack of HD radio

The HD radio box is another $100.

So, anyone (besides AJM, speaking about Dual :haha:) have any recommendations? No offense, just not into getting a Dual unit.

Looking $150-300 range. Needs good ipod/aux input, 3 preouts with subwoofer out.

Really wish i could fit a Double din touch screen, but don't want to have to build a custom dash bezel to fit it in....And don't want to spend $600 on a touchscreen nav i dont' really need.

Thanks!

I like Pioneer stuff, but thats just me. I've got a Pioneer unit in my K5 came with a remote, Ipod hookup, auxiliary input, and HD hookup for like $130 last Christmas. It was on sale though.

Keep it GM! I picked up a Delco GM2700 ETR shaft radio for $25 out of a Monte Carlo and sent it out to a radio repair shop in Texas to be rebuilt (cost like $75 for that). Its 4 channels from the factory, looks right at home in your dash, sound incredible and can be updated. I installed a wireless bluetooth receiver, attached to an FM Modulator that was installed in-line with the antenna connection. When its turned on, it cuts off the antenna completely and only feeds the radio with my Bluetooth audio, when switched off, the Antenna passed to the radio and i get excellent reception.
