Motor is still out of commission but I have hooker headers, and they get hot as hell and are hard as hell to work around. Anyone recomend going back to stock?

no hotter than exhaust manifolds...

Want REAL results? send the Hookers to Jet-Hot... Cuts surface temp in 1/2 and makes a noticable difference in engine bay heat...
