so 6" of lift, 35's and a locker and you still couldn't budge in that goopey stuff? It almost looks dry in a few spots...was it not like that the night you got stuck?

That night everything was under water. It took two 25 foot tow straps to get to the waters edge.

Sry yall. I couldn't get any pics other than what I got. I was to worried about getting my rig out because it was starting to rain again and I was worried about the river coming out and turning my truck into a fish sanctuary.

Did it look anything like this?

Ya the San Marcos river came out pretty good too.

I live near walmart on the Blanco River.

the grass doesn't look torn up, so it looks like the k5 just grew out of the ground. strange

something very similar happened to me at marshall creek (near fort worth). the surface ground was so dry it was cracked, so i didn't think anything of parking on it while i put away my recovery stuff. took about 10 seconds for the truck to sink and bury the axles in thick nasty mud. the two jeeps i had just pulled out came over and helped. thankfully, pulling together, they got me free....and got themselves stuck in the process. i have pics. somewhere.

Sounds good to me, haha.

In all actuallity, I think the k5 will see no bigger than 35's - 36's for now because I want to keep the stock 10 bolt and maybe add a locker.
