Yes, this site has cost me a lot of money. I keep finding out out about all these cool mods that I have to have. I started out looking for info on D60's when I found this site. Now I have cross over steering, shackle flip, steering brace, greasable bushings, and there are still lots of things I want.

Funny, same thing has happened to alot of people I'v met here. I had a GMC Jimmy for one year, got rid of the oil leaking, part breaking, gas guzzling piece of #### and was so happy to see it go. One year later I was back looking for a new one. Once you go big, it's no turning back. Regular cars just isn't the same. It compears to owning a old Harley Davidson. It's a love hate thing.

Espen88K5, that's exactly my story. My truck needed some work, I started a new job that required a 70 mile drive (one way) so I decided to buy a new truck. I won't own an IFS truck, so you can probably guess what 1/2 ton I bought. It's not bad, it's just not the Jimmy.
I believe I have my Olds sold, so I'm well on my way to owning another K5. It might take me awhile to find the one I want, I'm going to make sure I find one that's exactly what I'm looking for (or at least pretty close). My friend has a '72 for sale that needs a motor, but I think I'd rather have another one like I sold. Oh well, part of the fun is looking for one.

It could be another big road trip with CK5 roadside assistance on your side. Always someone on the way willing to fill you up on food, drink and parts. Give us a list of what you want and we will keep an eye out for you.
