HELP!! 8.1 Engine Not Starting (Sometimes)

Dear Members,

I had to re-open the door of this Thread again!

For unknown-reasons, the conversation thru PM with the Member "Team208Motorsports" couldn't continue (giving him the credit that we made good-progress to an advanced extent, but then got halted).

Honestly, am not sure whether or not the communication-process technologically works in the 'PM session' in the same speed as it does in the 'Forum/Thread session'?

To ensure connectivity & counting on the good-momentum cranked earlier in this Thread, I like to reiterate & continue seeking your help by investing upon the good-discussion that was exchanged (from where we departed lately).

Awaiting favorably! As the truck is still locked into the Carage, pending hearing a suitable suggested cure

And as shared earlier, in case of achieving successful resolution, I'll keep the mammoth 8.1, otherwise will have no option but to go for 6.2L swap.

Make sure that your PM inbox isn't full. That would prevent you from being able to receive new PMs. If needed, delete messages in both your inbox and your sent items folder to make more room.

Josh may also be busy working on a race car somewhere. It's less than 20 days away from the big King of the Hammers race and I know he is all over the place getting engines wired up and tuned. I'm sure @Team208Motorsports will reply as soon as he can.

Russell,

Thank you for helping me out here, truly appreciated. As suggested, I just checked & found that my Inbox is 2% Full.

Hope that this message & Thread will get a better opportunity right here, and in case of Josh is being busy with the upcoming Event (good news), am happy for him and truly wish him all the best.

Awaiting.

Sorry for the delay. I have been on the road the last 18 days and am home for the next 4, then on the road for 21. I will get the ecm shipped out today. I haven't forgotten about it, just have not had access to the equipment while on the road.

I feel you man; wishing the best for your efforts.

And, am grateful for your consideration to my situation & I reciprocate the same to yours.

I'll follow up the ECM & keep you posted of the progress as it occurs, thru PM. And, I'll keep this Thread updated as well, as reasonable.

Safe trips & successful events!

Dear All,

Update!

"Keeping commitment" is key to success in the supply-chain, as it does in life.

Am happy to share that Josh has gone beyond that....he proactively shipped the ECM in parallel to sorting out other matters. As seen, now the ECM is in my hand & am eager to see it working in the shown truck.

However, it may take a while to put it in function & feed you back with the results, as am quite engaged in preparing for a long distance trip.

Will keep you posted as we progress. And again, many thanks to Josh & other contributors!

Very nice! I like your old square body truck too!

Thank you Russell for your kind words.

And to me, the square-body is what I like the most, next to which two more are lined up: the 81 Blazer (8.1 L) & the 77 C-20 Stepside (5.7 LS1).
