im doing a brake job/rotor turn on our 05 equinox, does anyone know the torque specs on the nut that holds the rotor on? thanks:confused:

the bolts are there from the factory to hold the rotor on while its on the assembly line. They are not needed to retain the rotor after service

it was a misunderstanding on mypart, kinda a doah moment, i pulled off the axle retaining nut thinking the rotor was held on by it, anyways i called some folks and found out that needs to be torqued back to 96 lbs for anyone who may have a dumbass moment like i just did. newly turned rotors and fresh brake pads, good for my wife to ruin again:D, hehe thanks anyways
