#1 I dont know how Ive survived without these little gems, THANKS.

#2 Got the new sensor in, starter bolted up and shimmed right.
#3 put the new battery from my blazer (got new duals batts for it) in the
burb since po had used wrong one. Its even supposed to be decent weather here in the sea/tac area .
Cranks beautifully and fires right up. Its even beerthirty!
But wait, whats that?

Headgasket? WTF? Wow, Im speechless. Where do I begin? Leakdown test?

glad to see the extractor worked. And I see you did exactly what I said not to do. you used one that was larger, and then went to the smaller one.. lol, dont worry, it happens all the time... at least you got it out.

PRoblem is, fark, did you have this problem before this knock sensor?

Absolutely no probs, ran like a champ.
I musta been a real SOB in a previous life and its payback time cause 2007 been just like this. lol(its not funny, but I have to laugh). I can think of no relation to starter prob and it must be some sick, sick coincidence.

Headgasket? Help? I need my ride w/heat.

That's real weird that it blew a head gasket, right after you put on a new starter and knock sensor. It def looks a head gasket if you got steam coming out of the exhaust and leaking coolant like that. That realy sucks man.

Yea, REEEAAAAALLLLLYYYYYY sucks! Guess Ill be learning how to pop a head off and pop it back on. All good experience I suppose. I prefer to learn on my own terms though.
Any good recommendations for a book to guide me thru this or is my pos Haynes manual all I should need.
