OKay I tried the Dealer, I tried the local wrecking yard I tried Napa, Shucks, o'raileys and LMC truck no one has a listing for the part I need

it is showed just to the right of Item 22 on this page http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=48 Also Highlighted in yellow on attached jpg

its the part that the Door Lock rods hook into and my spring is too warn to allow the part to move correct to open the doors.

Okay I took the part out and got a better photo of it.

Does LMC not sell it?

Nope that was the first place I tried, I even called them they say no one makes it, the dealer can't even find a part number for it and I have tried two wrecking yards so far.
I can't even find a part number for it to help my search.

Do you happen to know what range of years?

I don't hit the junkyards as often as I use to but will always look out for you. Can you snap a bigger picture showing the door and it's location. Also, how is it held in? Bolts? Rivets? If you can tell us exactly how to remove it, it cuts down on the recon and tools we might need. I wouldn't mind running over this Sunday to my closest yard and have a look.

Mine is a 91 with out a cross reference number (which I can't find I can't find I am not sure what years would fit, the part is inside the door held on by three bolts which can be removed with 7/16 or is it 1/2 inch on the door seal area I can see the part in exploded diagrams but no part number or offical name is to be found. this is the part the power door lock and manual door lock parts connect to which allows the door to open.

Have you tried spraying it with PB Blaster and letting it sit for a day? It is the metal assembly right?

Nowhere near my parts manual, but when I am, I can look for you. It goes up to '88, I assume it would be the same piece?

You'll have to PM me in a week or two if you still need it, sorry.

Yes, but you can see it in the pictures at LMC right? Might be able to tell years by going off that. :dunno:

I would assume 83 to 91 as a guess mine does move but the tiny little spring is no longer strong enough to lift the paddle that the hood handle depresses to open the door I already tried adding a second spring but it was too strong no letting the paddle drop so you could never lock the door.

List the tools needed to get through the door panel and any other stuff in the way, cable cutters too? Include the actual size of the bolts for the piece too. Like I said, I'll check Sunday but don't want to load a toolbox for the occasion. Square body selection is decent. Subs are so/so unless I make a trip to some of the 30+ mile away yards. If you don't have one by Apr 18th, that's when I'll be hitting the other yards. 50% and much more selection

Scrounging I might of found some help for you.
