Hello! New to the forum so hopefully this gets to the right place. I've got an 84 K5 with sliding windows that are driving me nuts. One of the glass pieces is broken, and both latches are broken so they gradually slide open as I drive.

Long story short, I want to replace them, but I'd prefer the solid glass from earlier years. My problem is that I can't seem to find solid glass ANYWHERE. The closest I am finding is an expensive flush fit kit that I don't particularly love the look of.

So does anyone know where I can find the solid glass for sale to replace my sliders?

The solid glass is unavailable in the aftermarket, your best bet would be to search Marketplace or Craigslist for a complete top for sale, and pop the glass out. I've seen a few near me lately for a decent price.

Yeah good luck with that, used is the only option now.
I have one side I think driver side, but shipping is a hassle. To Idaho.
I have a neighbor who might go to Boise in his RV in the near future and he might be willing to take it along, but it's still a ways from Rexburg.

Did you try LMC Truck?

By the way I also have sliding glass, if you need pieces to fix yours.
I don't see anyone buying the whole thing with shipping costs for big glass pieces

Buy an old top, that's what I did two years ago for my solid glass. They are a dime a dozen on FB marketplace. I even turned around and sold the top without the glass in it and made some of my money back.

I picked up 3 free and got the glass from them.
They used to beg people to come get them out of their way.
I guess now we're running out
