help me decide on beadlocks and tires

Interesting read on the tire care for the stickies

yeah, I live in Texas and although I will get a little winter in the Panhandle where I live, I don't get anything like you or @Blazooki

when I wheel in the winter I use something besides one of my buggies.

Glad you’re doing this thd. I want to end up with 44”s on my K5. My Parnelli Jones E rated tow ability 38’s from Years ago are mounted on 16” x 10” or 12” wide (don’t really remember width) Forged Weld Super Single two wheels that were OMF beadlock converted.

My 38”s have Got to be dryrotted by now, and will just be burnout off road tires lol! They’re going to need replacing. So might as well get hopefully some 44/45X16” tires after getting the polished wheels powder coated. I’m Not polishing wheels. Hose, blow off, wipe off with micro cloth, done.

yeah the cold weather thing with stickies is my only issue..once I put 45s on it then its gonna have to sit on the trailer under a cover. Unless I wanna take the tires off every time to get it in the shop.

Is it maybe easier to pull a coilover bolt and leave it at bump to pull it in? This way there's no extra tires involved, just a jack and a impact gun.
