just wanted to get some more people to look at my truck.. I am selling it to get a ring for my girlfreind. I cant do laundry much longer... :D

This is not the greatest pic but It was handy.
BTW. She is awesome, works for the cdc right now but is about to go to school to get her MD. Then truck parts will abound :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :D :eek1:

Do not sell the truck for a girl. It's never worth it.

I got my wife a $100 wal mart ring til I could afford a nice one after we got married.
 
im sure we wont change his mind about this... but i wouldnt sell the rig either, its never worth it, ask anybody.
 
Im NOT selling my baby, This is a barney purple S10 Blazer :( , Ive had it for over a year and havent gotten around to fixing it until now. Im at the shop right now reassembing the engine. Wow I should have done this a while ago. I cant find anything. like all those little bolts.. :mad: ...Ive got a list of things I will have to order from chevrolet tomorrow. I will NEVER sell my K5. but this thing just needs to go. Its not a bad little truck at all, I had planned on making it my dd for a while now.

The thing is I have been dating her for 4 years! :crazy: Its time to do the deed and Im in a time crunch.....Ive got the proposal planned for November 20th. :doah: .. not alot of time.

Just buy the best ring you can afford if she is worth it she will understand. If she doesn't she is shallow IMO and you should get rid of her.
 
I want to pay cash for it, and seeing as I make a pretty good living I think I need to give her a decent ring. Right now I am trying to pay off all of my debts from college ( read run up credit card bar tabs ). I appreciate the support of keeping the truck. I have another prodject on the books already. I was the lucky recipiant of a frame and axles from grimjaw. I see a truggy in the future.

dont put yourself in debt for a ring. buy her the nicest one you can comfortably afford. as was said before, she'll understand, if not... TO THE MOON ALICE!!! :D
 
I'm with you man, sell the extra project and stay out of more debt. One of the best peices of advice I was given b4 I got married was to stay out of debt :D .
 
Thanks for the advise guys, And thanks for pointing me towards the s10 forum I will put it up in there as well.

On another note. I plan on asking her while we are in Miami for a freind of hers wedding. Any advise on how to ask, Im open ears. I was thinking of doing it on the beach. whatta ya think :confused:

Geez...

Check it out, my engagement ring was a 50 cent vending machine ring, I spent $7.00 to find the perfect one! Then I bought her a $10 ring from Wal-Mart later that week, then she spent $70 for the next one, and then I provided the $300+ one for the wedding itself. Course, I am divorced now, maybe the rings had something to do with it. I have bought 3 trucks now trying to build for the BB's. Maybe that had something to do with her leaving too! And every one I had to sell early cause she didnt like it. I hope this girls worth it. Congrats none-the-less man. And good luck!!

Find a highschool kid who wants a 4x4 for not alot sell it to him. Flat black rattle can with flames will sell the deal :wink1:

btw November 20th is an excellent date :D its my birthday too lol
