Help me identify these Axles.

Hey guys, I just ran into a guy that has a 86-87 Chevy Suburban that has a 6 lug's wheels and wanted to know what rear ends this thing most likely has. Anyone know? It has a 350 with a 700R4, he's not sure of the T-case.

10 bolts front and rear. Case is most likely a 208, possible a 241, depends on year.

87 is a 208 it is the same as I have.

The way I read this is that you want to know what the rear gears are? NOT the transfer case.

The rear on mine is 3:08s look in the glove box and see what the codes are.
GM8 rear axle 2:56
GQ1 rear axle base ratio
GT4 rear axle 3:73
GT5 rear axle 4:10
GU4 rear axle 3:08
GU6 rear axle 3:42
G80 axle rear limited slip

These RPOs are from OEM 1987 Light Duty Truck unit repair manual ST-333-87 need any others just ask.

they are not worth anything. Tie a rope to them cause they are boat anchors.
