Help! Need brake line measurements for \'88 10-bolt

Can anyone give me a brake line measurement sometime today? I forgot to do this last night, and I want to get the line on the way home tonight (I'm 40 miles away right now)... According to the dealer, this part must be fabricated, it's not sold by anyone as a replacement part...

It's an '88, standard brakes (not heavy-duty), 10-bolt. The steel line I need runs from the junction block on top of the pumpkin, to the drivers side wheel cylinder. I need the total length, line diameter, and fitting size at each end. I think the fittings are the same and I think 3/8, but I'd rather be sure for my brakes.

If I can get this info, I could have the parts place cut and flare it for me before I get there (if I go home to get this stuff myself, I end up not getting to the parts place before they close).

Thanks y'all!!!

Those should just be your stock lines. NAPA probably has them. If this shop is that clueless I wouldn't let them make brake lines for me. They should be telling you if they know their [censored].

Yes, it is a stock line, but noone around here has it. I called 7 different parts stores and 2 dealers, and each said it must be made. The dealer said the GM list replacement part is a 25-foot line that must be cut and flared by the shop...

Anybody have these measurements??? I can probably get the stock replacement fittings etc from the store, but I still need the length and diameter of the line! Anybody??

Seen some places online that sell them. Bet you could call them and ask?

Where? I need it tonight, but if I can find a place online that'll get me a stocker by saturday, I'll go for it.

I stopped by autozone and picked mine up. They were straight tubes which you have to bend but they had the ends and everything already on there. I just picked up the 40" one. It was a little longer than I needed but it worked.

Yup, that's exactly what I ended up doing. I bought a tubing bender too, even thuogh I didn't necessarily need it... It made the ends a lot easier to bend, and I'm thinking since I have it, maybe I'll convert all the cruddy rubber tranny cooler joints to steel...
