When you pull the ring gear you need to flush the holes out with some kind of solvent to get all of the gear lube out of the threads, it is a good idea to use new bolts if you have them. Clean up the threads on a couple of the old bolts and tighten the ring gear to the carrier, then start putting the new bolts in with red locktite on the threads. The reason for doing it this way is to minimize the chances to getting locktite between the ring gear and the carrier. Once you have all the new bolts in except for the places where you have the old bolts with dry threads go ahead and tighten up the new bolts with the locktite on them and then replace the old bolts with the new ones with locktite. Now torque them to specs. The backlash will be the same as when you took the carrier out.

You should be able to get them anywhere that sells drivetrain parts. The bolts are specific to this application and they are grade 8. Anytime Gus.

Probably nothing, it is not a recommended procedure but it gets done frequently. One of the problems is that gear lube is a good thread lube and it is possible to overtorque the bolts even though you use the proper torque with a calibrated torque wrench. If you clean the threads in the ring gear and the bolt threads and the only thing on the threads is red locktite then you should be ok. It is better to use new bolts if possible though.
