i have a 85 jimmy with a 6.2 and a bad 700r4 and i think the transfer case is bad too.So i either want to go with a th400 tranny & 205 t-case or a sm465 & 205 t-case.So i need to know what i would need or what i would need to do for either one of these swaps.

I have an sm465/205 from a 1990 truck...in excellent condition... 500.00
you would need a set of manual pedals... I have a manual bellhousing and new super duty clutch for an additional 75.00...
lastly you would need the little frame bracket and linkage....I think I have a set Ill throw in...
if you want to go the hydro route then buying an entire hydro setup is the way to go... they can be spendy depending on condition.... I might have a set if the other buyer flakes on them...
