hey everybody, im workin on my hubs this weekend, FINALLY. first off, i wanna apologize to everyone who told me i was gonna need the four prong tool and i said it didnt fit. turns out im just retarded and didnt completely remove the freewheel outter assembly and never actually got to the lock nut. so it is actually the four pin lock nut like everyone said.
heres the problem, i got everything apart, and have all the peices layed out how i took them out, but its not making alot of sense, heres the order they were in from outside to inside....
freewheel assembly (including knob, gear, spring, o-ring, lock screw, and outter casing)
lock nut
spacer
lock nut
outter bearing
rotor
inner bearing
seal
now im putting it back together, and ive got the new bearings greased, and the bearings and rotor are on the spindle, and ive screwed the first lock ring back on, but it dosnt look like there is enough thread on the spindle for a spacer and another lock ring.
is one of the lock rings supposed to go inside the rotor, on the inner bearing before the outter bearing is installed???
ive got the hayens manual, and ill be looking through that, but ive never been too impressed with the information those things provide.
thanks in advance.
