Help Quick!! Column same from 89 1500 pickup and 91 blazer?

I am supposted to pick up a column in an hour from a guy i talked to from a want ad. I forgot the new body style started in 88 for pickups. Is the columns in the newer body style pickups the same as the one in my 91 fullsize? thanks

only the 1 tons and blazers and burbs carried the old body after 87, not ALL 1 tons though, ive seen a few 88-91 1 tons that are new body, but uncommon it seems

1/2 and 3/4 ton other than burbs/blazers redesigned for 88
