help with body mount

If you do use the hartop like that you can adjust the little metal brackets to push the windshield out a bit more than normal, that way when you take the hardtop off, it'll sag back down a tad to be just right.

The windshield frame is not going to move more than an 1/8". My Blazer doesn't have any of the boxes or supports any more and it didn't move when the front clip was unbolted even with the cage completely removed. The door openings are pretty well set by the body mounts.

3/4"-1 1/2" of shims isn't uncommon for a well used Blazer with urethane mounts. My Blazer has at least 1 1/2" of additional mounts to get the door openings close, probably will need more if I ever put doors back on.

well that makes me feel a little better. i have 1.1" in it still and could use another 1/8" to get it perfect.
