Help with Fender Trimming

So, I just did Deer Valley in Tahoe area this weekend and I DEFINITELY need to do some trimming on my 73. I am running 35s with a 4 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift and at full stuff, the are definitely into the rear section of the front fenders. The rear wheels are fine so I just need to trim the fronts.

So really what I am looking for is some pictures of how people have trimmed the REAR SECTION of the FRONT WHEEL WELLS. I am specifically interested in what you did with the inner fender as that is where I seem to have the most rub. I want to cut the absolute minimum of the outer fender that I have too.

There are a lot of threads on this subject and I went through nearly all of them but most of the picures that were in them aren't anymore so any pics would be much appreciated.

I think the best way to trim is to get a rear tire jacked up as far as possible, this stuffs the front opposite tire the best. Then cut slowly, do it several times.

Without someway to get it up in the air like that or get it flexed out its very difficult to ascertain how much trimming you will actually need to do.

It seems like every rig is different.
 
Thats a really good idea. How would you suggest getting a rear in the air without a forklift?
 
Try one drive on ramp. Just one. Drive up the ramp, park it, chock the wheels that are still on the ground, put a floor jack under the rear opposing side of the ramp. ie: ramp under right front, jack under left rear. This will give you just a bit more "stuff". No drive on ramp? use a jackstand. May be better cause you can turn the wheel easier, remove it to trim, replace and check if you need to trim more.

Oh, that is an interesting idea, that might work. What if I used a high lift on the left rear bumper? What that get me pretty good stuff on the right front?
 
A hi lift usually won't get you high enough.

I use an engine hoist.

I actually have an old wheel that I welded a hook too.

Done this a lot
