i have got the lockin hubs out. the rotor assymble off and took that backing plate off but cant seem to budge the spindle to get if off.

Given you have the backing plate off you have all the nuts holding the Spindle on removed. In the past with a stubborn spindle I have used a rubber mallet to hit the end of the spindle up, down, front, back. Do that about 10 times and it will usually come free.

Hit the spindle its self not the axle shaft that protrudes out of the spindle. Basically right where the bearing lock nuts thread on to the spindle. Make sure you use a soft rubber mallet. You don't want to goof up the threads on the spindle. The key is to get it rocking back and forth, up and down.

Make sure you clean up both mating surfaces super clean before reassembly. that spindle needs to sit perfectly flush on the knuckle.

Cheers,

Yeah dont use a block of wood between a regular hammer and the spindle. IDK how but I actually managed to put a mark in my spindle using a block of wood...

I always though steel was harder than wood lol.

4 lb dead blow rubber faced hammer :D

when its all out clean the rust off both spindle and knuckle hole. then anti seize it up . there will be a next time you need to pull it and this will make it better.
