So I removed the Kick panel on the passenger side to try and fish out the dome light switch wire and the return spring for the mixer door came off from the actuator side. My question is how does the spring hook into the bracket and where? I could not find a hole to hook it into.

And also does any one know a way to fish the dome light switch wires out from behind that panel?

If I am not mistaken the spring actually attaches to the actuator braket. I will look at mine and let you know. As for the wire it passes through a rubber gromet in the kick panel wall above the vent hole and is no easy task to fish down to the door switch. Re-wired mine in 1.5 hours with a piece wire with a hook, tweezers, niddle nose pliers, and cussing like a sailer!!!!! To get the old one out I cut the wire and poked it through. Will let you know on the spring.

Just put mine back in a month or so ago. Just pull the panel off, it comes out pretty easy. Don't remember how the spring was hooked up, but was not hard to hook up. Will be glad to look and get you some pic if you still need them tomorrow.

As for the dome light wire. Take the door pin out stike a coat hanger thru it to fish the wire thru. O sh*t I just remembered that I have a 5" hole in the kick panel for speaker that i can reach it from.
There is a gromut with a white wire on that side that is the dome light wire. Pull the glovebox out to get to it easier, then pull it out with the wire. You should be then be able to snake a coat hanger thru the door pin hole to that bigger hole, tape the wire to it and pull it back thru.

Hope that might help

Thanks for the help I was starting to think every one forgot about me. I will try the fishing method. hell for that matter i may just cut a hole behind the kick panel fish it back threw then weld the panel back in lol.
