I am starting a build thread for my brother in law's 78' blazer we have been working off and on for the past year. Still plugging away a little at a time. It was a one owner rig with 60,000 original miles. Unfortunately, they drove it into town everyday off of a 4 mile stretched of unpaved road. Thus requiring patching. Here we go:

Got her home, and started tinkering. Decided on overall color (Chrysler Surf Blue Pearl) color of the hood. Decided to clone it as a Cheyenne Equipped blazer with woodgrain from a 77'.

love the bezel, digging the color/wood theme vibe too.. :waytogo:

boy, I'd be expecting some floor work on that tho, if the exterior is any indication.. :eek1:

Liking what your doing...seems like nobody ever puts the stock chrome on anymore. :thumb: What are going to use to reattach it to the body.

I got the same wood grain and tack as you got in my 77.

What wheels are you going to run on it? I was hoping for the wheels in the original post....

Nice to see it being fixed, and not crushed. Ever go to Tuttle?

Martin

Martin, I went to ksu for college and drive a jeep Rubicon , so I know Tuttle lol.

Already have the Cheyenne badging for the quarters.

As far as the wheels go, my brother in law likes the ralleys.
