I have an 75 SBC 350 out of a RV, it run's very well and has good compression. The RV only has 45,000 miles on it. I'm in the process of taking it out right now to swap it with a 84 350. The question is, while I have it on a stand should I rebuild the engine because it's so old, or should I just go on ahead with the swap?

I would do some kind of rebuild since you have it out. Maybe not a full blown rebuild but something to wake her up.

I wouldn't mess with the bottom end. Maybe slap on an intake maniford and some headers. If you are really looking to wake it up then put on some heads.

Heads are what gets a motor to it's potential or chokes it down. Like he said^^. A good flowing set of heads will really wake up a motor.

What do yall think my top priority should be? I don't want to add something that another part is just going to hold back.
