Fellow AZers: Did I see one of you around 3:30 way out west (for me) heading south past Luke Air Force base? red and white, 89-91?, Harley license-plate frame, chromed tips on the duals out back, and probably 6" of lift?

It is was one of you, I was right beside you all the way down until I got on RT10... (nice rig by the way!)

It wasn't me,which part of the valley do you live in,,,Cross streets. I live in Mesa at Alma School and Baseline. I think the truck you saw was from the guy with the pre-runner post. I can't remember which post but the had a nice truck(red body/white shell) with a custom rollbar.

Steve-san, beat ya to it. The '77 insert is now being pulled apart out here on the coast (San Franciscoish) awaiting a fiberglass-up renovation and possible installation into a Suburban. Have Sawzall will travel. ;-)

Anyway, the Chalets, umm, yeah... they're heavy... but load down your Blazer with, say, five or six big guys, and I betcha you can still rock from a stopsign, especially if you have a SBC400 like the Chalets did ;-)

I'm at Ray and Gilbert right near the police station...

Nope it wasn't who you're talking about. I've seen his truck on his website and the one I saw was 2 tone red/white throughout (Silverado color scheme?)

I was just up in your neighborhood getting my glasspack put in at Apache muffler. Great place for exhaust work if you ask me...

Apache muffler is the only good place I know of in the Valley. I may be a little bias because my friend works there and I have been going there 10+ years. His dad owns the place and they have help me and my friends fix all of our vehicles, trucks, cars, quads, golf carts, motorcycles, my sons custom wagon and every other thing. Plus we just hang out and drink beer after work and shoot the sh-t.

damn, so where were you a couple weeks back when I could have used some haggling power?

Hey JMPD, you know the Apashe Muffler guys right? What about anyone at Village Auto-Electric? It's where I'm taking my starter for a rebuild. The Apache Muffler guys recommended them.
