Hi Flow Air Intake question

I have a question about this item. I’ve been told that you want the engine to suck in cold air from outside of the engine compartment for the engine to run better. This intake sucks air from within the eng. compartment. Would the positives (of more air) outweigh the negatives? (using hot air)

Dont bother. The stock intake flows plenty for TBI. And you were told right. It is better to pipe cool outside air to your TB. Cool air is more dense and will make more power.
8-12 HP With that set up on Ebay you might acually loose some HP.
