Hi my name is eric;
you guy bare with me here Im havin a problem with my truck today it was runing great goin an comin back from school an i filled the tank up i know i filled it past f but i know no over fill came out or leaked out hehe anyways i came into my complex an all ah sudden i had white smoke comeing out from the bottom off the truck an i parked it an like liquid stuff was like drippin not alot or gushing an when it touched the groun dit was like a sizzle like almost acid sound or soemthin i dunno what it is or what plz help me

i duno what color its at the end of the motor i dunno it doesnt sound like oil cuz the oil pressure is ok an its not sounded like low oil but it sounded when it hit the ground like when u flip burgers on the grill

i dunno i havent checked it i just parked it but i gues ill check it tommorrow in the mornin cuz its dark but im thinkin it might be the overfill but why by there i know the tranny fluid wont do that

it was drivin good i mean i pic it up from my mechanic friday night an he had to do stuff to it an he test drive it too but i didnt drive it sata n sun but mon i did an i drove it today an it was ok no knockin or noise liek u ge tif u ar elow on oil it was alittle warm out today i dnno it was white smoke it wa sjust so wierd

Somebody with a 383 stroker powered stuck on 40's should at least know about the simplest things and general upkeep. :rolleyes:

So what if he doesn't?? We all have to start somewhere. He bought a pretty decent truck as a starting point. You fault him for that?


However, complete, legible, understandable questions would help his cause.

Sounds like the truck overheated IMO.

Sounds like it overheated to me as well. If it didn't have the strong smell of tranny fluid burning and was coming from the front of the truck I'd bet it was the coolant. It most likely overheated and poured out of the overflow tank or the radiator is leaking (our 93 burb used to go through radiators like tissues). I'd check the fluid level before driving again, top it off and see what happens. If you haven't already, replacing the thermostat might have been something overlooked in the past...
