hi im confuse an need assitance

I'd guess transmission fluid, perhaps a seal is going out somewhere. Check the transmission fluid level.

last time i put oil pan back on the rear seal popped out a bit on installation and when under pressure oil would run out along block to starter and on to exhaust and then ground creating a whole lot of white smoke burning on the pipes. :doah:

Someone spends a little too much time on AIM.

I am thinking about a small hole in a tranny line. Or if it has a rubber to metal line, the clamp could be giving out. Could be a double gasket on the oil filter also.

1. Use proper punctuation and grammar. It's SO much easier to read. This isn't Instant Messenger.

2. How in the hell did you end up being the owner of said rig when you obviously don't have a clue?

3. We need a Jeep's Unlimited version of CK5 so we have a place to send these Morons.

Or maybe we need a "I think I know it all, and I'm not gonna tell you" forum for donkeys that give new comers a hard time. You don't have to know anything about a truck to buy it. Ask any car salesman, most people buy cars based on color and how many buttons it has. Anyways, he's asking for help now, and wants to learn so why don't we just stick to helping out instead of this holier than thou crap some of you guys are pulling. CK5 is all about helping, educating, and swapping ideas. I've learned more here in a few months than I ever had in my whole like. BTW, my first thread turned into a pi**ing match too, so don't feel bad. Most of the time people just help, but every now and then some smart *** jumps in. It would help a lot though if you could write in forum language instead of IM.

hey

hehe ya all i need is advice than beening intemadated on why i buy such a car that i dont know about

Since you've got a digital camera, think you could snap a picture of where the fluid is coming from, along with some of the smoke?

Should be easy enough to get under that rig for a picture or two, lol :D

Looks like a pretty nice truck, ignore the guys who have the holier than thou art attitude, you came to the right place to learn about these trucks. There is a wealth of knowlege like you wouldn't believe here.

Also, I must say, you made the right choice buying a K5 instead of a neon with a big wing or something :D

Jesus christ, guy. Word of advice...proper grammer and punctuation goes a LONG way to actually getting help. Also, know what the mechanic did to it. If you say... the mecank di dsom stuf t oit.....that doesn't exactly help us understand what's been done to it, and something that starts after the truck has been worked on, sure does point to something the mechanic did. So.............want to try your post again?

if ure in so cal, are u near san diego? u can bring it by my place and we could take a looksy at it. if u want to learn a bit, there is a couple of us in so cal that would be more then willing to help you repair, mod, or trouble shoot.

btw, as said before, take a moment to type so we can understand what ure saying. it will help us both. i would venture to say the majority of us are not puter geeks, so it takes a moment to figure out poor puter lingo

i'm in orange, but its like 30-45 minutes away, you could bring it by, even if i couldnt diagnose it, i could get pics or video for the guys here. I could also act as a translator for you (haha j/k) :haha: :p:

I met this guy in Azusa Canyon about two or three weeks ago when his steering box tore from his frame :doah: . He is a good guy who bought a big ass truck about a month or so before i met him. "socalsnake" I didnt kno much either when i got my rig last year, I have learned a whole lot from these guys in here, enough to were i am actually stoping and helping out others on the trail. Dont let the know it all's get to you. But you do need to slow down and re-read everything you type and pictures are a biggie here. Good luck to you.

Must be, or perhaps he read your post wrong? Doesn't seem to have any ill-intent to me. Maybe he quoted the wrong post?
