4 light system (right now all on or all off ) put in new switch , new lights ,harness looks fine????????????????? any help please

what year truck we talking about here? I had a 74 with an 87 4-headlight grill that had the same problem. The terminals of the high beam footswitch were corroded a bit, worked fine after i cleaned it up.
what switch did you replace? if you replaced the headlight switch, i'd say check your high beam/dimmer switch whether it be the foot switch or on the column

well I found the problem ,I found out the low beams will light up even if they are bad,I put 2 other lows in and now it works fine.
