Hid headlight update

Since I upgraded to the hid housings and halegeon bulbs wanted to give an update since it snowed. They heat up enough to melt the snow off the headlights. And it was not a small amount, here it was at least 7 inches.
Compared to led headlights I used to have that would freeze over badly

and pro flo 4 ran flawlessly

Hate to burst your bubble, but those bulbs are incandescent halogen units. The issue with lights freezing really comes in with some of the LED conversions. Having used similar bulbs on the H4 conversions in my '75 they ran HOT! Hot enough when they got covered in slime driving on the snowy roads with mag chloride I tried to clean them off with a handful of snow the glass lens on the housing cracked as soon as the cold snow touched it.

I put LED H4 bulbs in my '91 a week ago and it was a major change in light output. No question. Very happy with the output now.
