It's been this way for about 5 years, with no problems, so I'm gonna roll with it. LOL

You can, but my 87 6.2 diesel, 700R4, died and when I crawled under, the transfer case had broken the 3/8 bolts and was just hanging. I'm now looking for the xfer case brace. It has rebuilt transmission and xfer case, but I won't drive it much (any) till I get that brace on it.
