High Lift mount ideas

A set of GM FWD swaybar endlinks would work perfect for that. They come with the rubber pieces with little "shoulders" to fill the hole, plus spacers and washers.

I use a couple of these. Ballast weight mounts for a roundy round car.
$10-$12 each and come in 1 1/4", 1 1/2" 1 3/4" for round tube.
They hold the hi-lift just fine.
Like Blue85 said, I bolt it down with poly pieces of an end link kit for no rattles.

my mount, in previous posts, has rubber bushings from the help section of any auto parts store. They are labeled as such too. Thought I sound mention that since it might be easier and cheaper to find than the end links. Dunno

I'm trying to picture how the end links would keep things from rattling but it's just not coming to me. Wouldn't the "spacer" part go through the Hi-lift and rattle or is it the lift rattling against the bar we're talking about?

I did the same thing as Norcal_Chris when I still had a bed.

Now I just have a couple bolts welded to the cage that I cut down to the shank and drilled a hole through that fits a BIG cotter pin that's designed to be used on a receiver hitch pin.

I've seen some Jeeps with HighLifts mounted on the hood before. I'm still exploring mounting options as well but can't do the area around the wheel wells since that's where the tool boxes are going.

I wonder if anyone here has mounted the high lift on there hood, I would like to to it myself, just need to make some mounts. Are the hood springs strong enouph to hold up the weight of the hood and the jack?

Do you still have those brackets? I'd buy 'em if you'd sell them. I know it's probably easy, but I like yours.
