High quality air hose.

I could see that being aggravating since they get so limp with the air off. I stretch them out then roll them directly onto the hose reel. It's actually easier to do with no pressure so it isn't as stiff. Dad has always used the pvc hoses so the Flexzilla was a nice change as far as storage.

I really don't have a reason to dislike the Flexzilla, but I do. It's so limp with no air in it it just makes rolling it a pain. Yeah, it's kind of minor but it's not to my liking. I guess I try my luck on some goodyears.

the goodyears coil well, vastly better than the stiff PVC stuff..... obviously they get a bit better over time...

rubber hose has to be trained and kept up the same way when put away .

also rubber will wind up crappy with no air just about as bad as flexzilla.

I will say it took me a few days to get use to mine but I wont go back if I can help it now I am use to it .

I've been using premium air hose for years, never tried Flexzilla. Always seemed too gimmicky to me. But I got a 50' roll for Christmas, so I guess we'll see. Not sure if I want to replace the hose on my reel, or use it independently. Previously I found that I use the reel for anything pretty close around the bay where the reel is located; but if working further out, I prefer to just grab a coil rather than try to unroll/reroll most of the reel.
