Need some recommendations for a 50' 3/8 inch hose with 1/4 ends. I'm trying to avoid buying more crappy plastic type hoses.

Thanks.

goodyear is outstanding, you wouldn't be disappointed..

but I'm gonna try out the Flexilla in the near future..

I just did a thread on this last month, and everyone highly recommended the flexilla..

eghey seems to be a good source for either...

Watch out for the Goodyears that are made overseas, I put one on my hose reel, lasted about a year. Breaks at the end

I have the same problems with my goodyear one. I didn't even think to look where it was made. I just saw the brand and grabbed it.

hmmmm, I've always had outstanding luck with em.. my house one is about 4 yr's old and in great shape.. we just bought 2 50'er's for work, hopefully they're not foreign cr@p... they get abused in the marina...

I need to change out my 25' for a 50', so I'm going with the Flexzilla.. everyone raves about it..

just incase ..................................... FLEXZILLA :thumb:

I have a legacy ( parent comp of flexzilla ) hose real with 75ft of flexzilla on it . and I love it .

can find them new shipped for around $220 last I checked .

just the hose is a lot less if you don't want the real also .

You'll be happy. I had a 50 footer and just bought a second one last year so I can get all the way out to the house with air. I've never had one kink and they seem pretty tough.

Right on, tnx everyone.

I bought one of those semi cheep retractable hose reals from HF. Most all of the reviews said the real was nice but the hose was crappy and quickly, 6 months, would fail. Figured I'd get a high quality hose now to replace it.

I am the odd man out. I have had nothing but good luck with the Gooodyear air hoses. Bommgaars has them on sale all the time for $20 for a 50 footer. I must have six or seven of them.

I don't like Flexzilla hose.

I've always had outstanding performance from the Goodyears...

why don't you like the Flexzilla?

Don't like the way they roll up. I hang my hoses on garden hose hangers.

Pulling them out of a hose reel puts stress on the end also, verses hanging them up.

I do the same thing and have never had an issue. Do you roll yours up by hand and then hang them on there?
