What did you guys do with your front shocks? From looking at the arms on my D60 the tie rod will be in the way of the shock body:doah:

you will need to extend the mounts back or go to the top of the axle. I have done both but with 2 different axles....

I think I will mount them up on top of the axle, less stuff to get hung up on. Does anyone have any pic's of there setup, moneypit?

I was wondering the same. I just put 52's in my 71 and got my WFO arms in last week. That shock will need to be somewhere besides where it is. I was going to do furd shock towers but now I might make a hoop.

You in CO yet? Both my rigs are now on top of axle but with different mounting styles. if I get time I will move it out of garage and snap a few shots before I go on vacation.......

Toby, I wasn't able to get matched with Colorado Spings. I got accepted into the recruiting career field, but they couldn't match me with the place I wanted to go. So I pulled my paperwork. I am getting out in 2 years and am going to move to Cedar City Utah.

If you could snap some pic's that would be great, thank you.:)

Put the lower mounts on the C bracket. Put a socket on the upper BJ nut and pull the mounts up snug against it. Build the upper hoop to just lean them in just far enough that the tire won't rub on them when articulated.

I don't quite understand what you are saying:confused:

Will my Ford shock towers still work?
