Well I'm starting to get back on track in a few months with the s10 diesel, well now isuzu trooper build. I want to do home made radius arms in the front for a better ride. I place on making them from thick walled square tube or DOM not sure yet.

Gonna use ballistics brackets and coil buckets, ballistics rebuildable johnny joints at the frame, and bushings at the axle.

I want to look into the coils for a parts list I'm putting together. I'm going to be using adjustable coil buckets so I'll be able to adjust the lift and use some longer lift springs for more travel but maintain low lift.

I figure the front of the isuzu will be around the same weight as an early bronco w/ a small block, plus about 300 lbs for the diesel and winch. I was thinking maybe fullsize bronco springs or even 90s ram 1500 springs.

Thoughts?

Get Currie joints. Everybody I know running the Ballistics have issues with them getting loose quick and having to tear them apart and are not happy with them. We run Currie's on the Bronco and my K5 with no problems. The ones on the Bronco are over 5 years old and still going strong. A couple of them are due to be rebuilt now but after the abuse they have seen we can't complain. As for coils the James Duff Progressive Rates seem to work well. We sell all of what you need so give us a call.

I'm somewhat worried that EB coils will be too light of a spring rate with the diesel, winch, and bumper. Thats why I was looking at the FSB coils.

My concern with stock coils is their height. I can really take advantage of a tall spring with the ballistics adjustable upper buckets and still keep the lift low which will obviously net me a dick load of a travel.
