what does the harness plug into? is it really "plug and play" like they say..

What model are you refering to? I have used two standalone systems.

Does it have the stand alone controller with the small knobs to adjust stuff? I had that one and like it. Very easy to use.

thats what im refering to. im not sure on the adjusment question i dont actually have it yet but will probobly be buying this setup from soneone soon..

Yep, thats the one that I had. Its a real good unit. I wish I still had it in fact. I upgraded to a 900 cfm unit for the BB and sold it. I should have kept it and put in something else. They are not too bad to set up and made a huge difference in low end power. I think you'll like it.

I mounted the fuel pump down on the frame. On the passenger side near the crossmember there was a spot on mine where the hard line goes to rubber for a foot or so. I spliced into that area for ease and I have not had to mess with it for years.

so it does not replace the pump on the side of the block? u just splice it into the line?

It does replace the pump. The electric one goes back on the frame and then you have to run two high pressure lines. One from the pump to the inlet and the other from the outlet on the Injection unit to a return line. I also put my fuel filter before the pump to help keep it clean.

I pulled all of the extra metal line out from the frame when I did this.

Oh, the new lines run up the rear of the engine.

I did. I just bought it from the local parts store. You have to buy the high pressure stuff for fuel injection though and it was expensive!
