I’m struggling a bit on the wiring and setup of the terminator and msd ignition and I think I’m over complicating it.

MSD Dual Sync distributor
MSD 6a CDI box
MSD Blaster 3 coil
If I follow these directions it seems pretty easy but I’ve read stuff about having to lock out the distributor. Is that something I need to do? The distributor paper work and the Holley paperwork doesn’t mention anything about that.

I’m not using a cam or crank sensor. Do I just put the motor at TDC and stick the distributor in with the rotor pointing at 1 o’clock and that’s it? Seems to easy which is why I’m questioning it.
