Holley truck avenger questions

Yeah, maybe I haven't said it in this thread, but I only run "clear gas" in my carburetor equipped vehicles. The ethanol free gas.

I haven't seen carb parts get rusted like that from just ethanol gas, but playing in the mud shouldn't be a problem for a good fuel system.
I wonder if you should put some fuel drier in the tank. BG makes one that worked very well for a friend's truck.
Yeah, the engine has to pass the water after the additive works on it, but maybe it will help?

I’m not sure what the ethanol content is here. I need to look into it. Isn’t that a valve controlled by vacuum? So fuel shouldn’t get in that area right, just air? Just thinking if that’s the case how it builds up rust, condensation, or maybe moisture getting in there somehow.
But I also purchased this off another guy who said he ran it on his truck for “2 months” which probably wasn’t the case. Hard to tell if it’s from my truck or not. I guess we’ll know someday. Lol.

Doesn't it control how much fuel is added, based on the vacuum signal vs spring? So it would have fuel close or on it, correct?
:dunno: I can't remember everything about it.
