Home k5 body removal?

I know this post has age but do you happen to have any images?
Well if you want to see newer examples with pictures there are a couple of new builds doing exactly that.
The only problem I can see is you need to pay the membership to see the pics.
They are in the driveway builds

the 4 - 6 guys (depending on how strong) lifting is the best way in my humble opinion. my 73 weighs around 630lbs without top, doors and tailgate. i used a tractor and the challenging part with that is balancing the lift where the firewall doesn't head to the sky and the end of the bed doesn't drag the ground

Couple guys locally that did a ground up restore said they left the doors on so the roof didn't Buckle (77 and 82 K5s). Anyone have experience good, bad and ugly?

When I did my 74 we took everything off, it was light enough 4 of us carried it off .
I have used the hoist to put a utility bed on and by myself it wasn't the safest thing

Back in the 80’s & 90’s we would all have what we called lifting-party’s to gather up as many fellas as possible to lift cabs and beds when needed - as we got older chain falls and/or equipment has become the first options.
Like said above getting the c.o.g. right before the lift is crucial.
