Hood

The back of my hood shakes when I drive down the road. Sometimes the hood latch comes undone while driving. Fortunately the safety portion of the latch works. The hood seems to be lined up correctly and everything is tight. I’m thinking of installing hood pins to hold it down. Have any of you experienced similar problems? Do any of you have hood pins? Do they mount in the same location as those rubber bumpers in the corner of the radiator support?

Ya , mine broke on my 75, so I installed hood pins on the corners, just bolted them to the Rad support....

i bought a cowl induction hood from US BODY SORCE and used hood pins on all four corners. makes it very easy to work on your motor with the hood off.
