what all is involved in hooking up the dtent cable on at th350 on the tranny end? tpi swap going on and I need to get this done. Do I have to remove the pan or is there a way to do it without that? since the pan dosen't leak...

Th350's are easiest IIRC , you remove the little bolt that holds it on , and the little wire thingy threads into the eyelet on the cable end .

Haven't done it in forever , just now got my first TH350 since my 76 Laguna .

I've just put a TBI motor in my '78 with a th350. It's easy to hook up as Pauly said. But I had to put a domed allen bolt and nut in the slider at the throttle body end to get enough adjustment on the kick down, but that could be the way I made my throttle/kickdown bracket! :doah:

I'm sorry to say you do have to remove the pan. :(

??? The cable can be hooked up from outside.

I couldn't get it unhooked so I had to drop the pan. :dunno:
Maybe it depends on how much room you got to work with or is there a trick I missed.

Maybe you need some more attitude!! :D I didn't say it was easy. It says in the manual somewhere that harsh language and a Mossberg help. :D :D
