How about a fun game? Name this bolt

I hate to associate myself with this thread, but that kind of screw is called "high low" - a subset of the self-tapping type.

I saw this thread about a bolt had 20 something replies and thought, "someone must have really needed the Brotherhood's help." Should have known it was hijacked.:doah:

Typical, daily drama that happens to 90% of all threads on this site. :haha:

I had at least one useful post in there somewhere ... Dude, where's my post?

So I'm scattered. And Hi-Jacks are great things; you can use them as a jacvk, as a winch, as a steel bender ... oh, wait, that's a Hi-LIFT Jack.

Anyway, compare my occasion bursts of silliness to the number of times I've posted with legitimate useful answers about alternators, part numbers, brakes, etc etc... I think you'll find my crap-to-not-crap ratio is better than many.

I could just wait two weeks, then in each thread reply only to the first post without reading anything in the middle, repeating what's already been said, only late ... oh wait, that's that MikeD guy :haha:

Don't worry, I'm guilty of hi-jacking, too. :D

I name it Bob.

I think it looks more like a Gary.

SO what exactly are you needing to know? Where to buy them or what??

Just tryin to figure out if you need another but you're holding one in your hand so it's not like you lost it

Yeah, needed to know what it was, so I could figure out where to get another. When I bought my windstar fans, two of the screws holding the motor in were missing, this is the remaining one ;)

i think i remember something

about the difference between a screw and a bolt (in the machine world at least) as being that a screw is smaller than 1/4 inch and a bolt is larger. blah blah blah blah:doah:blah
