How about some recentered hummer wheels?

We are doing them! That much is definite. We are working on pricing as we type.

There are alot of things that go into doing these that some folks don't take into account.

Here's a rundown,

Shipping here or wheel purchase, depending on whether you have your own wheels or not.

Sand blasting. The inside of the rim needs to be free of that nasty CARC paint.

Then there's the center with the gusseting and welding it in.

We will probably be offering powder coating on these, however, this could get messy as I will have to rely on an outside source for that. Takes control out of my hands and I can only do so much with it at that point.

Return shipping.

As far as backspacing is concerned, the fixture is setup so I can do back spacing in .25" increments from 2.5" all the way up to 4.25".

4x4high, Yep, 16.5's is right. Alot of people talk like they aren't available anymore. Which, if you look at websites only, they are not listing them but if you really want them, call a dealer and they can get them or have them. I haven't ever had a problem obtaining 16.5" for my rigs and that's all I've ever ran.

Are you thinking of making inserts? I am starting to look around for a set but if you plan on making them eventually then I will wait until you do

It has been discussed but no official decision as of yet. Probably don't want to wait for me.

yeah, but bank accounts only look good on paper. Trucks look good all over the place!:haha:

Could you do a center for rockwell patteren? I like the gussets alot!!

One step ahead this time. Jig is already set up for Rockwell pattern.

We are ready to go on Rockwell, 8 x 6.5, 6 x 5.5. Few minutes on the lathe and I can be doing pretty much any pattern there is.

I will give you a call on Monday about doing some for a Rockwell.:D

Just send him the hummer rims already sandblasted, please, for my sanity's sake. :rotfl: :doah:

Alright Kert, sent my wheels to the blaster today. Should have them back early next week, so as soon as you get the run out and pricing squared I will send them to you!

BTW, do you make rim stiffners/rock rings for the 12 bolt style?

Sure do!

Checked run out on a wheel today. So we are making some limited progress.

Kurt, you do realize you're going to have to compete with the fine work over at USA6x6 dont you? lol!!! If you start buying surplus hummer wheels and can build those wheels at prices that compete with USA6x6 you're gonna be a busy boy.
