Still trying to piece together the front lift on my 84 K5. I have an extra set of 52's and a set of used SuperLift 4" springs. I know everyone loves the Tuff Country springs, but how bad are these SuperLifts in comparison? I'm looking to accomplish a 4" lift with close-to-stock ride quality, decent flex, but good road manners since I won't have a sway.

So 52's or SuperLifts?

i was surprised at how well the sl 6" up front ride in Mutt that I got from Kert.. not bad at all, i always knew sl for stoopid high spring rates, figured it'd be a dump truck...

That's promising. Thank you.

It's the 10 and 12 springs that ride like bricks but even then it's manageable. Very not bad and the 4s are good springs just a little on the higher prices side if I remember correctly.

I have the 6" HD superlift springs in mine. When empty it can be a little harsh but it's never bone jarring. Throw at least 500lbs in the back and its super smooth riding. Running bilstiens helped a ton too. If you're planning on carring a fair amount of gear they'll work really well for you.

we took off a pair from one blazer that rode amazing and then another set that is on Ethel now but rode like ass on a gasser and ok with the diesel and the bottom leaf removed.

I have 6" super lifts in the front of the Maiden and shackle flip w 2600 lb stock 56's in the rear....it rides great for a 6500# rig

Thank you, everyone, for your replies. Through reading previous threads, I was ready to trash these, but this was very promising.

@Justin V: I think I'm gonna smash some bushings into the Super Lifts and see how they do, but I'll hold on to the other 52's till I see how these work. I'll let you know.
