If I use the fender trimming technique from the technical articals section of this website, how big of a tire (height and width) do you guys think I can fit onto my stock 87 K5 ? 31x11.50x15R right now. I want to stay with the same size rim and not have to do any other mods.

35's with trimming. people have run 44's with 4" lift. it all depends on how much u want to trim

35's with little trimming on the front

I dont want to lift. I thought that with 35's I would have to lift and trim as well as regear and axle upgrade.

if thats the case, then just get 33's

33s... x2
Just a tiny bit of trimming.

You can fit 35s but youll have to trim even more(see pic of blue blazer on 1st page). Anything bigger than 35 should be lifted unless you dont want fenders anymore.

By the way..if you dont need your truck every single day, get the tires installed BEFORE you cut. This way you can see exactly how much youll need to cut.

Good luck, and please post pics!

I barely trimmed anything at all. Maybe 20 minutes total. Rears tucked up nicely and the fronts rubbed a little on the inner wheelwells but nothing that would damage the tires
