Ok not 52" tires...
I have read some that a good amount of people here are running 52" front leafs...

so now I have longer shackles on my truck to which everyone is saying are unsafe...

so I deemed that I need 8" front leafs to get my truck where I want it...

can anyone tell me what this 52" leaf swap is?
is it rear leafs?
if so what would I need to go with to get 8" leafs for my truck using rear leafs?

Thanks
Jeff

you need to do a search. THere are SOOOOOO many threads on this man. This is probably the most talked about topic on CK5. And as for your need for lift springs, we need more info, what lift are you running now? Crossover steering? its needed for 52s.

I currently have 6" front superlift springs

4" longer shackles (before anyone bashes it was free and the truck isnt being driven)
by doing the shackles I have deemed 8" front leafs will get me to sit where I want to....

ORD crossover kit for front 6" leafs
d60 front

I know to search... I will do that... I havent had much time to even be on these sites so I was hoping for someone to be able to chime in real quickly and say what year leafs I need and from what.....

52s and a zero rate would probably get you where you need to be. 52s give about 4.5-5" of lift(so many folks say).

so that would net me about 5.5-6.5" lift right? I want 8" total.... I am trying to make sure my truck rides the NJ lift law height...
with 12" wide rims and 40" hawgs I rub like heck with 6" leafs and 2" extra long shackles.... but 8" total lift will allow my door to sit at 33.5" which I am allowed..... then I will cut the fenders out the rest of what I need

you would need 4" lift rear 52's 4" + 4" lift= 8":D

I've pretty much heard they net about 4" for stock rear 52's, so like rubbinz said, rear 52's that have a 4" lift to them should put you right in the ballpark.
