I want to paint the roof on the suburban to see if i should even consider painting the rest of it myself. But i have no idea where to start in finding a pint or so of my original color! I dont know if there is somewhere online where i can find it or if i need to try and find some paint supplier in Portland that carries auto pain? Any ideas? Do i gust type "Portland auto paint supplier" in google and hope where i land is a knowledgeable paint shop?

Here is the truck.

And no its not lifted anymore. This is back when i had the lift and swampers on but its the best pic of the color that i have.

If repainting the whole truck the RPO should tell you the original paint code. I wouldn't paint just the roof with that. With paint fade over the years I imagine the original paint being much darker.

Well the plan is, go ahead and piant the roof myself with the original color paint this summer, then next summer have the whole truck painted the original color. For now the roof paint is non existent and needs done in a bad way.

Call a chevy dealer parts dept. with your VIN. They will give you the original paint code. Go to a PPG, Dupont or Sherwin Williams auto paint supplier nearest you and ask for the paint. They will mix it to the original color. It will not match exactly what is on the truck. Paint fade and new chemical compounds will make it different. If you want the top and lower to match. Get enough to do the entire truck.

Call a local body shop and find out where they get there supplies from. Once you do, you can go there with a color chip or code and they can get you set up.

sure looks like the Medium Maui Blue

Should look like BC/CC U 4146 or something like that

The "27U" at the end is the code. Also reference as a 4146. Take both to the paint shop and the will mix the original color.
